Classified Ad Writing Tips

1. Describe what you're selling
   Be sure to include all the facts - year, make model, size, color, condition as well as other saleable features like, chrome wheels, soundsystem, etc....
2. Always include a price
   When you leave off the price, readers usually assume the item is overpriced or too expensive. Be sure to include a price.
3. Avoid abbreviations
   Do you know what ljfo means? Neither do our readers - make your ad as easy to understand as possible.
4. Include your phone number and e-mail
   You may also want to let readers know when the best time is to contact you.
