Head To The Lifestyle Expo For a “Fun Break”

The perfect place for between-races fun and relaxation?

It’s the expanded Lifestyle and Alternative Energy Expo in the Long Beach Convention Center and Arena, FREE to all race ticketholders. And this year, it’s even more special, thanks to “Green Power Prix-View.”

Green Power Prix-View features extensive displays of alternative energy vehicles. And, the Expo will also house exhibits by many Fortune 500 companies, including many highlighting renewable energy sources, water and energy conservation, green building and healthy lifestyle for inside AND outside the home.

Toyota will feature the “Toyota Highway to the Future” and its outstanding lineup of racing vehicles, passenger cars and trucks. The SPEED GT and Champ Car Atlantic garages are also located in the Expo, giving you a chance to get “up close and personal” with drivers, crews and their sophisticated racing machinery.

The new Lowe’s Fan Experience will be a must-see part of any Expo visit and, if you’ve got pro racing ambitions, a variety of driving and karting schools will be on hand to get you started.

The Kid’s Zone will be loaded with things to do, including Nirve Sports BMX Bikes and skateboarders, plus a wide variety of interactive excitement with race cars, video games and simulators.

And, you can get a close-up view of Speed Racer’s thundering Mach 5 from the live-action, highoctane family adventure, “Speed Racer,” in theaters on May 9.

As always, there’s ample food, drink and great souvenirs from the 34th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

The Expo is open Friday and Saturday of race weekend from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
