Coupe takes 'G' series to new standards of style, power
from Infiniti

The new 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe combines the exhilarating performance, styling and modern, sporty intertior of the original Infiniti G35 coupe and accelerates each to new levels.

Among the key enhancements to the second-generation G coupe are a larger, more powerful 3.7-liter V-6 engine, an available 4-Wheel Active Steer system, a dramatic new exterior design and a refined interior with intuitive, integrated technology.

"The new coupe builds on the styling, performance and interior enhancements of the G35 sedan, adding the dynamic style, sporty atmosphere and expressive driving character expected of a class-leading luxury sport coupe," said Mark Igo, vide president and general manager of Infiniti Division. "The line starts here."

Rated at 330 horsepower, the new engine is not only considerably more powerful than the previous-generation G coupe, it also is expected to offer increased fuel mileage and reduced emissions.

"And this power plant also features Infiniti's trademark Swell acceleration... with special tuning that builds horsepower almost continually to the red line like a building wave," Igo said.

Compared with its predecessor, the G37 coupe is longer, lower and wider. Technological and convenience features abound, including the standard Infiniti Intelligent Key with push-button ignition.

Available is an 11-speaker Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose, and an Adaptive Front Lighting System that automatically controls the headlights according to steering angle and vehicle speed to help provide better visibility at night.

The G37 is available in three models: Coupe, Coupe Journey and Coupe Sport 6MT.
